ClosedAdd Part Codes Entries
Task How to do it

Use this feature to add, edit, or delete part codes entries. A part codes entry can be associated with one or more claim types.

The Part Codes feature is not available in insurance company profiles.

To add a Part Codes entry

  1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click the Part Codes link.
  4. Click Add from the Part Codes toolbar. The Part Codes screen opens.
  5. Make your selections, and enter information in the required fields for Code and Description.
  6. Select the Claim Type droplist, and then select one or more claim types to be associated with the part codes entry. Vehicle Claim Type is the default choice.
  7. Enter or select options in the remaining fields.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Save or Save and Close.
ClosedLink Part Code Entries
Task How to do it

Part Codes entries in claim office, and repairer profiles can be linked to part codes entries in your repair facility profile. This feature is not available for insurance company profiles.

To link a part codes entry

  1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click the Part Codes link.
  4. Select an existing part code from the top Part Codes section, and then select a part code from the Repair Facility Part Codes section.
  5. Select Link from the toolbar. A confirmation message screen opens.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Save or Save and Close.
ClosedCreate Predefined Events
Task How to do it

The Predefined Events feature allows you to create an event that can be triggered when locking an estimate.

Additionally, this feature allows you to view events defined by an insurance company.

You cannot edit the insurance company table. However, you can assign additional mandatory rules in the Claim Office Predefined table.

Options include Required to Lock and Communicated for events that you create.

To create a Predefined Event

  1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click the Predefined Events link.
  4. Select Add from the Predefined Events toolbar. The Predefined Event screen opens.
  5. Enter the event information in the required fields.
  6. Click OK to close the Predefined Event screen.
  7. Click Save and Close from the toolbar.

 

ClosedCreate Predefined Notes
Task How to do it

The Predefined Notes feature provides the ability for you to create, edit, or view a predefined note.

Notes can be associated with your repair facility or claim office profile.

The notes in this table can be used for estimate notes or estimate line notes.

To create a Predefined Note

  1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click the Predefined Notes link.
  4. Click Add from the Predefined Notes toolbar. The Predefined Notes screen opens.
  5. Enter the event information in the required fields.
  6. Click Save and Close from the toolbar.
ClosedEnable Print Labor Hours
Task How to do it

The Print Settings option allows you to include labor hours on the estimate report.

To enable printing labor hours

  1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click the Print Settings link.
  4. Select the Include Labor Hours on the Estimate Report checkbox. A checkmark indicates the option is enabled.
  5. Click Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.
